SELF DEFENSE CLASS

University Police are excited to be able to offer self-defense classes to members of the University of Wisconsin Green Bay community. Our classes are designed to be realistic, effective and simple so anyone can succeed and improve their confidence and skills.

GB ALERT - EMS

GB Alert allows all UW Green Bay students, faculty and staff to register to be notified via text message and/or email in the event of a campus emergency.  GB Alert is an “opt-in”, voluntary system and will be used for emergency notification purposes only.  Emergencies include credible, ongoing incidents that pose a threat to the University community.

You must be a student or employee to sign up for GB Alert.

PARKING

UW Green Bay has Virtual Parking Permits. The virtual permit is identified by the vehicle license plate number.

Students the virtual permit fee is added to the SIS account at the time the upcoming term fees are applied. Students who do not use the parking services can “opt out” though an option on their SIS account which removes the permit fee.

University Personnel use an online process to pay for yearly permits through payroll deduction. Employees choosing not to use payroll deduction or who choose to purchase term permits can do so at the bursar’s office.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The State of Wisconsin provides no state tax money to the campus to construct or maintain parking facilities, therefore, a parking fee is levied to generate operating and construction funds.  Authorization for campus regulations comes from Wisconsin Statutes.
