What is CATL?

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) leads structured professional development programming and support for instructional academic staff from their first year and beyond. CATL also leads many informal professional development opportunities to support instructors throughout the semester. Watch for TeAch Tuesday emails from CATL highlighting those opportunities.

"We partner with faculty to promote a culture of continuous improvement in teaching by investigating and engaging with evidence-based best practices, professional development opportunities, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and the cultivation of reflective learning communities.
